Help Us!

The Appalachian Trail is 90% a mental game. Sure, we may be mauled by bears or succumb to mountains of poison ivy, but most people leave the trail because they simply grow tired of it or loose the will to finish. We are hoping to complete the trail with your help. Yes you. Below we have listed post offices we will quite literally be walking past. If you could mail us something, anything, by way of encouragement it would mean the world to us. A small letter or post card would be perfect (remember we have to carry everything). Additionally, we will have our phones and access to email.

To have something delivered to us at anyone of these post offices, the address should look like this:

Kyle Latham (or Tyler Ewing)
General Delivery
Trail Town, VA 12345

Please hold for AT thru-hiker
ETA February 30, 2020

I've added the ETA (very roughly estimated) for each stop, so make sure to mail things about a week or two ahead of the ETA in case we're going faster than anticipated. Also keep in mind the post office holds General Delivery for 30 days, so mailing early can't hurt.

April 5 Edit: we're moving faster than we thought, so move all the dates I listed about 7-9 days earlier. Again, they hold the mail for  a while, so mailing early is the way to go.
